As a child, she saw firsthand the challenges they faced—not just in building their businesses, but in finding attorneys who truly cared. Her parents needed more than just legal documents; they needed strategic legal partners who understood their vision and were committed to their growth.
Those experiences shaped Dar'shun’s path early on. Determined to change that reality for other business owners like her parents, she went to law school with one mission in mind: to advocate for hardworking founders who deserve clear, compassionate, and comprehensive legal support.
But she didn’t stop there.
Drawing from her personal experiences, Dar'shun built her practice on the belief that legal services should not only protect but also empower founders. She’s made it her life’s work to ensure that entrepreneurs aren’t taken advantage of—financially or emotionally—during critical stages of growth, fundraising, or exit.
Her unique perspective drives a range of founder-first initiatives, programs, and legal solutions tailored to help startups and scaling companies stay protected and thrive.

Ms. Victoria C. Inoyo holds a law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She is currently barred in California and worked on several M & A deals in her role as an Associate attorney at a law firm.
She will be helping Kairos with client projects, in partnership with Attorney Dar'shun Kendrick. She also conducts our free services consultations. This Fellowship is an immersive experience so she will receive 1 on 1 mentorship from Attorney Kendrick during the 1 year fellowhip.

Nadege DeMaitre has years of administrative support experience with various executives and organizations, including GAWL (Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys). She provides a wealth of knowledge to keep Kairos operational and moving forward to provide the best service to our clients.
She is responsible for client intake and follow up, setting Ms. Kendrick's calendar, helping coordinate events and facilitation between partners and others with the Firm.
